I had the pleasure of speaking with City Center (Fred Thomas and Ryan Howard of Saturday Looks Good To Me) during City Center’s tour, which is still taking place (don’t miss them!).

A wonderful night was had by all on Tuesday September 22nd when Calvin Johnson performed at Heaven Gallery. City Center (Fred Thomas and Ryan Howard, bandmates from Saturday Looks Good To Me) will be playing The Bakery in Chicago on September 23 after recently releasing their own self-titled debut.

On the evening of Sunday, August 2, Rachael Jensen (keyboardist and violinist for the Portland-based pop group Parenthetical Girls) suffered a major tragedy: four members of her immediate family were involved in a fatal car accident while traveling home from an annual family reunion. Her father and two brothers were rushed to an intensive care facility, and are now in the early stages of their recovery. Tragically, Rachael’s mother Kris, 51, passed away at the scene. Rachel and her brother Jeremy, who runs the Idaho record label Coming in Second, have always been close to the folks at K.
